IPhone users who switched to Samsung Galaxy?
So, I've been an iPhone user the past few years, but the 5 is just such a disappointment. I've had three 5's now and they've all had the same battery drain issues and it just seems like the iPhone isn't really evolving and they don't update their software enough. I love how safe the app store is and I like using iTunes for everything, but it's not customizable and the jailbreaks slow it down.
I'm strongly considering the Galaxy for my next upgrade but really have no idea what's better about it other than being able to customize it and the larger screen (<3). I was hoping to find some iPhone users who switched and have no regrets.
It's a matter of preference. Android is much more advanced than iOS will ever be in my personal opinion. Samsung also keeps their word on software updates. The Galaxy S2 that came out two years ago was updated to Android 4.1.2 a few months ago (just an example). Apple will stop updates to your device in 18 months after it came out, so that way you are forced to buy a new Apple device unless you want to stay with your device which is no longer supported by software updates from Apple.
- Why do users of an android have worse quality of posted instagram photos than users of ios? I have an AndroidOne smartphone and I noticed that having posted a photo it has worse quality than the same photo but of the user of an iphone. Does anyone know why? Ia there any explanation?
- What is a good phone, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, or Samsung Galaxy S3? I need a new phone and I'm wondering which I should get. My friend is selling his GS2 for around 50 Bucks and I could possibly get an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3. Can you tell me the prices with and without the plan. And for people that have these phones could you tell me how good it is and which carrier(Sprint, Verizon, At&T)?
- Switched from iphone to galaxy s3 and I'm having issues with imessaging? All my friends with iphones are having issues texting me. I don't know what to do. I know it's because of imessage. If I turn that off on my end (My old phone and my ipad) will that fix it?
- Samsung galaxy s4, samsung note 2, or iPhone 5? I'm upgrading from the iPhone 4s and I don't know what to do! I love my iPhone but I love the size of the samsungs? Need advice what does everyone think?
