IPhone went black and isn't responding to power/home button
I just got my iPhone 5 like two hours ago and I was just on it and it completely went black. If I switch the vibrating button on the side it vibrates, and if I plug it into the charger it also vibrates and makes a sound. I tried pressing the home and lock button at the same time but nothing comes up, nothing happens. Please help?
Added (1). Even Siri is working but the whole screen is black. I tried calling my phone from a different phone and i answered it by swiping my finger like normal and it worked. The whole screen is just completely black.
Yes; iPhone and Apple are homeless person brand. You will learn this soon. I don't know, maybe let the battery die and then try charging it again? My ipod touch use to freeze and I also had a GPS freeze before, had to let the battery drain before it would work again. Maybe it's the same thing? Or try googling for an actual forum rather than Y! A.
Just hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears (10-20 seconds). Release and wait
It would surely be resolved, those things happens sometimes with no reasons at all. If it happens more than once during the same day, go to the genius bar and have them look at the phone (this way your problem will be noted if something more happens).
