IPhone Wi-Fi speeds Staggeringly Slower Than My PCs' Wi-Fi Speeds?
We have 30mbps internet from Time Warner and all three computers on our network (that all hook up through Wi-Fi) are getting speeds close to that. Yet my iPhone 4 running ios 6 is getting around 3mbps. What is even odder is that my iPhone is getting more upload speed than download speed (an average of 5 mbps).
What is going on and is there anyway to fix this short of getting a new phone? Its not the 2.5 or 5 mega hertz broadcast frequencies either because 2 of the computers connect on the 2.5 and the other on the 5. And all of them get the same speeds.
That is very weird. On my iPhone 4, I'm getting 14Mbps download and.9Mbps upload.
Can't really think of any way to fix that.iPhones do have a much, MUCH lower Wi-Fi antenna strength than a computer. Try moving closer to the router. Other than that, I don't know how to help.

- Why is texting slower than snap insta kik etc I've found time and time again when trying to text or send pictures sending it through text is significantly slower than almost every other messenger app. Facebook, insta, snap, kik all of them are leagues faster at sending pictures than the basic text feature on my iphone. Why is this? I don't keep old conversations long. Yet it takes almost 5 mins to send a pic of a screenshot on text and it takes 5 seconds on anything else.
- Why is my iphone 5's LTE speed slower? I got it about 2 weeks ago. The speed was really fast and it could download an app in 5 seconds. Now it takes a while to download something. What's the reason for this?
- Why is my Internet slower than usual? I use xfinity Internet and out of the blue my phone gets a tad bit slower is it the modem or my phone? I tried disconnecting reconnecting unplugging Internet and plugging back in I'm on 3G iPhone 4
