IPHONE4 RINGTONE AS MESSAGE ALERT?

Does anyone know if on IPHONE4 I can use one of my ringtones for the texts alert? I just got this iphone last week and I have set certain ringtones to certain people and I also wanna set that ringtone to their texts to but when i scroll down to " message alert" the ringtones arent there just the basic ones they give.someone help me. Thanks!

Added (1). I did buy 2 songs thru iTUNES but how do I get them to the message alerts I don't seem them when I try to change it UGH so confusing!

Yes you can. Music youve bought threw Itunes can be applied to message alerts. Also incase you didn't know you can also use whole songs for your alarm clock wake up alerts… A feature that wasn't previously offered.

  • Why is my iphone making the message tone but no message? My iphone, for the first ever time made the message tone and I have no message? There's no app on my phone that makes the same sound either I have checked, apart from tweet on settings, but I don't even have twitter… I received a message 20 Minuits before this happened but I read it and replied… I have a lot of storage on my phone so it can't be that either… So what is it?

It doesn't come up as notification or any way of seeing any alert it's just the sound how do I make it stop it's doing it right now i don't know my phone model but it's touch smart phone not iPhone maybe Android or Galaxy or something i don't know please help.
  • IPhone message alert problems? I have an iPhone 4S. If i get one message, I can either view it or decrease the volume to make the the alert stop. But If I receive multiple messages at once, the message tone will play until the tone is over, even if I put the phones sound off. How can I make it shut up when I get multiple messages?

I got my brand new iPhone 5 yesterday it is going great except my phone isn't making any noise when I get a email or a new text I have rebooted my phone and gone through All my settings and have found nothing wrong my volume is on the loudest setting my music still plays like I can hear the music through both headphones and speaker does a anyone know how I can fix it
