Iphone5 can I put my sim in it straight away?
Found an iphone5, took it to the police then unclaimed so was returned to myself, now the question is, I put it to factory restore after taking out the Vodafone sim and want to put another sim in…(my own three mobile), I do realise I need a nano sim card
but will that be OK or is there anything I need to do first.
I put a cut down card (o2, the one that says to activate phone 248) to see if it would work, it searches and finds o2 but I can't call anyone as its like no signal. It all opens so can't be locked, gives the time, date, footsie all up to date so any help appreciated. Don't want to phone a company and they think its stolen… Yes just thought I should have asked for a receipt from the police, to late now had it for 3weeks.
1. Is the cut down sim card activated already?
2. Is the iphone factory unlocked?

- Will washable marker wash away if I put (nail) top coat on? I'm designing a DIY iPhone case but all I have is washable markers ^__^ so if I put a layer of top coat on top to finish the look will it mess up the whole thing!

I've purchased the BYOP kit from walmart and I know I need to use the nano sim but IIm not sure if I should use the at&t compatible SIM card or the T mobile? Or does it not matter? Any feedback would be really appreciated.
- If I put from iphone 6,sim card to new unlocked iph6S will it work right away? My att plan is until sept this year? Thats not important for now. Ill deal with that later. General question is how to have a iphone6S right away/as soon as possible. How to settled new iphone6S with my sim card from iphone6 and transfer all data from one to inother one ( iTune perhaps)
- If I put a sim into an unlocked iPhone 5, will it charge me money right away? So I recently bought an iPhone 5 and is currently stuck on the SIM activation page. I went on eBay and just bought me a nano SIM card. (Verizon). I know it won't work because the iPhone is GSM, but I just want to bypass the SIM activation page and use it as an iPod touch for a month. Will this work? And I plan on throwing away the SIM once I reach the home page. Will I be charged for putting the SIM in just for the activation?
