IPod and iPhone both have black screens after update?
I updated my iPhone 4 and iPod touch this morning. I can now only access the lock screens. When I unlock them, their screens both go completely black. I've tried holding the power and home buttons at the same time, the apple logo will appear but it still just goes to a black screen after unlocking. I tried restoring them both, but iTunes just gave me error messages saying that they can't be restored. Is there anything I can do to fix them?
Go to apple.com/support there are experienced apple workers there who can really help you.
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- Is it dumb to have both iPhone 5s and iPod touch 5? I got an iPod touch 5 for Christmas 2012 and I love it! I have an old basic phone (LG Cosmos Touch) and want to finally upgrade and get the iPhone 5s (I love Apple!). But I already have the iPod 5, would it be stupid to get the iPhone 5s or would it be a great idea? I really want the iPhone though!
- In the middle of an iPhone update and my iTunes won't recognise my phone in order to continue to update. Can I stop the update now? Neither the computer nor iTunes are recognising my phone and I've been working on his for an hour, I want to stop the update so I can go to bed, how can I do that? It's only at the stage where it has a symbol on the screen of the iPhone cable linking to iTunes
- My iPhone 6 was ran over by my car and Its now bent and the screens smashed I've been told I can take it to the apple shop and pay £239 for a refurbished iPhone 6 as its still under the one year warranty, I was just wondering whether this is true or not?
