Is 1gb of internet enough for iphone 5?

So I'm getting a iphone 5 and I'm wondering if I should get the unlimited data (but more expensive plan) or 1gb? I'm wondering if 1gb would be enough, I will be downloading apps, using fabook, instagram, whatsapp and twitter (uploading pics) playing games and maybe youtubing a little. So what do you thinks best. I don't really understand kbs, mbs, gbs. Etc.

If you don't stream YouTube on the data you might be ok. I have 2gb and I always browse and use Facebook and I rarely even use 1gb.

I have 1 gb and i have never even come close to reaching that because i have Wi-Fi at my house and at school but if you don't have Wi-Fi access then definitely get unlimited

I'm a android user who si always checking email and facebook etc i have only 250mb allowance which is 1/4 of yours but never go over it as android has a data usage to warn you if your aproaching your limit but you have to set it up yourself if you will be streaming and downloading large apps out an about go for the unlimited but read the fair usage policy as this might only be 3gb otherwise connect to Wi-Fi a save the details and have Wi-Fi active all the time such as at home or at work or friends house etc thats wat i do

  • Would 1gb of data be enough for the iphone 4s? I plan on getting the 1gb of data per month and wondering if it would be enough for me because i don't want to go over and pay loads of money. I would be on twitter, instagram and snapchat mostly, but connecting to Wi-Fi when available. Also should i turn my data off everytime i can connect to Wi-Fi to save data or will it not be used when connected to Wi-Fi? When should i turn data off.
