Is 2GB data plan enough for iphone 4s or iphone 4?
Kay so I'm getting either the iPhone 4s or the iPhone 4, and I was wondering if the 2GB Data Verizon plan was enough because I don't want to raise my parents phone bill. Basically the only things I would be doing is:
Surfing the Web
(I go on at least 5 to 10 websites a day)
Listen to music
(I tend to listen to a lot of music while doing homework for about two or three hours a day)
Checking my email
(I get 10 to 12 a day for two email accounts)
watch videos on YouTube
(at least 1 or 2 a day and at the most there 6:00 minute videos)
And using/downloading apps
It won't! IPhones are data hogs! Trust me! I try to limint myself on 3G but I always go over the data limit I have!
You'll probably go over your data. I would go with a 4GB plan minimum for any phone if you're a regular data user. I don't use the internet very often on my phone, however I do do things like browse tumblr and check my Facebook every now and then when I'm out, and I still go a little over 2GB on average.
It's also smart to use a Wi-Fi connection whenever possible, since this is a good way to save your data.
- What is the 2gb data plan for verizon? I have an iphone 5 and me and my mom are using the 2gb share everything plan but i don't know how to not go over the limit since i don't even know what the 2gb is. Like what does it use up? Does watching youtube videos affect it? Going on the internet? Streaming pandora?
- Is the 2GB data plan on Verizon enough for iPhone 4s? I'm switching providers soon and I want Verizon and to get the iPhone 4s but I noticed you pay for however much data you use. It's not unlimited? So do you think the 2GB data plan is enough? I do go on the internet a lot on my phone now such as Facebook and Tumblr. I take a lot of pictures and have a lot of apps. I'm just afraid I'll go over and then my dad will have to pay more… It's already expensive enough.

At home, I have Wi-Fi and that's where I would be downloading apps, texting, email, YouTube, and web. Sometimes I text about of the house on IMessage since I don't have a texting plan. I don't have a Facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc. Any of those things. At school I have Internet on my iPod so i would be using the Internet on my iPod. Do you think I will go over?
