Is $4700 credit card a lot?

I have 4 credit cards. All of them together have a total balance of around $4700. This is just debt has accumulated over the past 2 years of me working. I've bought several pairs of shoes, clothes, a few games on Xbox that I don't even play, some jewelry and a few other things. The crazy thing is I want the Apple Watch to go with my iPhone cause I never had one yet and I'm considering swiping my credit card cause I honestly don't even have $400 for it in my account.

Just go ahead. That'll teach'em!

You're stupid.

Anything over zero is a lot on a high interest credit card. Now foolish people (there are many of them) would disagree.

Yes

The proper balance to carry on credit cards is $0, Zero. Why do you want to give your money in interest to some bank? Don't buy stuff you can't pay cash for.

If you don't even have 400 bucks in your savings for an iPhone, then YES THIS IS A LOT. Quit spending, and start paying off your CC debt. You're probably in over your head now.

If you are stupid enough to buy a $400 watch when you have $4700 in debt you can't pay back then go ahead. Its only a matter of time before you declare bankruptcy and you'll probably never get out of debt but the world needs its losers too. Why don't you just go buy a $10 watch instead and try paying off the debt instead of increasing it.

You clearly should not be using any credit card.

Yes

Does that include the debt of the iPhone when we know you charged it to? Take out your wallet and get the scissors and cut it into bits then go out and get a second job or even third and every dollar goes to your debt. If you can't commit to that then you are doomed just go hire your BK lawyer now!

  • Why does iTunes say my credit card number is wrong? I have an iPad 2, iPod ( 4g ), iPhone 4.So it's been like a month since I couldn't get any apps. I've re entered everything and nothing still works! I've tried to do it from my laptop and computer but it still doesn't work. What can I do to make this work?
  • ITunes Gift card instead of Credit Card? I found some things that i have been wanting on the iTunes store but i do not have a credit card registered with my account. If i were to buy an iTunes gift card, would that work in lieu of the credit card requirement? Also, the apps that i want to get are for the iPhone. Would buying an app with the gift card affect the plan with the phone in any way?
