Is 8 Gb enough for iPhone 4S?

I want to buy iPhone 4 S. There's only 1 choice: 8 Gb and it is cheaper. I don't have enough money to buy iPhone 5S and 5C, everything is *** expensive in this *** Paris.
Can you please say me if it is enough memory for iPhone 4 S?
Commonly I don't use a lot of apps. I will use Facebook, Instagram, Skype, What's App and mostly I use to make pics and download songs.
How do you think, is it enough?

Definitely. There's plenty of room, but just in case you have TONS of music, store some of it on your phone and keep what you don't need on a computer.

Well I have an 8GB iPod Touch (4g) and I would love more GB's. It depends on what you would use it for. If I were you, I'd save up for the 5S/C.

I have the 16GB iPhone 4S because I have a good amount of apps and pictures. 8GB's is a "decent" amount of memory, if you can manage you available space it will be fine. On the hand my iPod touch has 8GB's and it went by extremely fast even without that many apps, pictures, and songs. Personally I would recommend an 16GB just in case, it works for me.

Large numbers of songs, camera images, and any video you record with the iPhone, take up all the memory. Apps don't use nearly as much as you think. But, remember, you can use the iCloud, 5gb free to help with that problem, and you can also store what you aren't going to listen to or watch on your computer.

You will have to transfer music pretty often to your cloud or to the computer, and download and delete a lot of photos so you don't eat up all your memory space. Only keep on the phone what you intend to use. The nice thing about iTunes is that it shows you how much memory you have used and what's available. It also shows you how much space is being used by music, photos, video, apps, etc. You can then decide what to store on the computer and what you can keep on the phone, while reserving some memory to snap new pics and videos, and download a few more songs. With only 8 gb, you will have to do that pretty often… A young person almost weekly. If you use it as a phone without storing a lot of stuff on it, you will not run out of memory. If you store lots of pics on it, a couple of videos, and a lot of songs… You will get the "out of memory" when you want to take more pictures or videos, or go to download a song.

You can get by with 8gb, but you will have to keep up with a regular regimen of removing things from the phone to store on your computer or cloud, so you can free up memory on the phone for new stuff.

  • What do i do when my iphone says it does not have enough storage? It says that i don't have enough storage to update my apps. I deleted a few videos already. And i don't have much apps. How do i make it so i can update them? Plus i have an ipad thats connected to my iphone, but still the same mail comes through and everything.
  • Is the iPhone 4s 16gb enough memory? I would hold about 300 songs or more? for games, i'd have maybe 20 or more if i could find some good ones. for pictures, i take a lot of pictures, but i'd end up putting the majority of them on my facebook so it wouldn't really matter if i had to delete them on my phone. for videos, i wouldn't take a lot of videos, but if i did they'd go on facebook, so it wouldn't really matter. is the 16gb enough?
  • Is the $999 2012 11 Macbook Air good enough for iphone game/app development? I want to make games and apps for iphone and ipod touch so bad but not sure if the specs of the 11" 2012 mba are good enough seeing that the processor is at 1.7 ghz.
