Is an American iPhone the same as a UK iPhone?
Like are all the internals the same? And would an American iPhone work here in the UK if you bought it unlocked? Everyone says all iPhones are the same round the world and I think it would work, but I was just confirming.
Yes, all iPhone's are the same, but as you say it will need to be unlocked for it to work. Only thing that will be different is the mains charger, but you can buy a USB plug cheap enough anyway!
Different prices though. Different currencies.
It's pretty much the same. The language set in it also changes. You wouldn't like an iPhone with Japanese only, right?
American cellular phone systems work on different frequencies to the British system so it would need conversion which with the current state of electronics means replacing the main circuit board and it's components. I don't know how much that would cost but it is probably cheaper to get a British phone to start with.
- Will an american iphone work in Ireland? I really want an i-phone 5 and they are only $200 in america! Thats so cheap, in Ireland they are about €700, My dad's friend is going to America and said he could buy one for me, but Will it work I know you can get them jailbroken or something like that. Anyone know if it will work Thanks a mil. X Its $200 on the apple us website
- My mom and i got the same phone and same plan yet her internet loads all the time and mine never does? Two iPhone 7+. Same unlimited data plan. Yet literally no matter where I'm, nothing that uses data loads unless I'm connected to Wi-Fi. Yet my mom's internet loads no matter where she is. It's even happened that we're in the same place trying to load the same thing and hers loads while mine doesn't. Yes, I have my data turned on. I've made sure all my data settings are identical to my mom's. So i really don't know what could be causing this.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- I'm trying to turn on Home sharing for iTunes, but i keep on getting same error (5599). Yes, i'm using same apple id on every device Note: i'm using windows 10, and device I want to connect to is Iphone SE 32gb. Iphone is updated to latest firmware 11.0.2 ios. I've just bought phone, and it would be nice if I could enable sync over Wi-Fi.
