Is Beezid a scam or legit website?

I need an iPhone 6 within the next week and I'm on a tight budget and Beezid is my only option I just need to know if it's a scam or not. How does Beezid work?

(how'd this end up in the military section?)

Beezid isn't quite a scam as they tell you how it works right up front. But some states are wondering if it's basically a lottery.

Here's how it works. Beezid puts up items for sale in an auction, but this auction works a bit differently than normal. Instead of giving a price when you bid, your bid just bumps the price of the item $0.01. In addition, you have to pay each time you make a bid.

So, say they put up a phone with a starting price of $100. You pay $1 to make a bid. The price is $100.01 and you're the winning bid. Now someone else pays a dollar for a bid. The price is now $100.02 and he's the winner… Until someone else makes a bid, and so on.

Basically, the last person to make a bid before the auction closes, "wins" the item. They still have to pay final price, but generally it's much lower than the retail price.

So that's why you see phones going for, say, $200 when their retail price is $600 or higher. But remember, just to go from $100 to $200 required 10,000 bids at $1/ea. So Beezid made over $9500 (after expenses) on just that 1 item.

There isn't a whole lot regulation regarding auctions, so it's quite possible that Beezid itself could be participating in these auctions in an attempt to drive more bids, as well as, automatically put in the "winning" bid so no one gets the item. This would let Beezid sell the same iPhone, for instance, over and over again! I'm not saying that's what Beezid does but since there's nothing stopping them from doing so…

There are also auto-sniping programs available for Ebay so it wouldn't surprise me if people were using them on Beezid as well.

This basically means, you have 0 chance of winning unless you cheat and even then, you still have 0 chance of winning.

Yes, It's sort of a scam. Here's how it works: Everyone has to BUY the opportunity to "bid" on merchandise. Each bid increases the price of the item by one cent. The bidding only ends when they say it does, not at a predetermined time. Every time someone bids, the auction is extended. Nobody "wins" until everybody else has dropped out.

Okay, say bids cost.50 each. (Last I heard Beezid bids were.60 each)

You and one or more other people are bidding on an item that retails for $500.

The price has been bid up to $20, and you can only hope the other bidders will drop out soon, because as long as people are bidding, the "AUCTION" DOES NOT END!

Remember, the price only moves up one cent with each bid. So it took 2,000 one cent bids purchased for.50 each to get the price to $20. Beezid has already collected $1,000 and they still own the item! I supposed you could catch a bargain IF you are the last to bid, but that only happens once per item. And everybody is trying to be the last bidder.

It only works when you give them your soc number

Scam.

You do not "need" an Iphone 6.

  • Where can I go to report a website that is a scam? I bought an iphone case from a website called IphoneGlam.com on JULY 7TH. It said they shipped it but no details on where to track it. I just googled "iphoneglam scam" and it seems like everybody has the same problem. I want my money back and I want to report this website as well. How do I do this?
  • Mkehmonghealth.com/buy cheap apple products website, is it a scam? I was browsing through the internet for an unlocked iPhone 5 for cheap and I guess this website sells them cheap, new and unlocked! Has anyone ever ordered from here? Because that would be great if I can order and iPhone 5 for $188 dollars.
  • Is this website legit? I've been looking upon websites to buy an IPhone 7 Plus and looking for the cheaper prices and stumbled upon this account. http://phoneelectronix.com/product/iphone-7-plus-128gb-rose-gold/ The website has no reviews, a weird About Us, and seems sketchy. $171 for an IPhone 7 Plus is VERY cheap along with it being 128GB is fishy. Never heard of this website but would like feedback as to if I should buy from this website.
  • Is this website legit. To unlock my iPhone 4? So the websites: http://www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk/ So I want to unlock my iPhone from AT&T to another service plan is this website legit? I kinda already bought the service… But there asking for me to send them a picture of my debit card (covering the numbers though) just showing my name. "Proof of identity" I guess… Should I do it? And it just charged my card 50$ when it was only suppose to be 25$… I'm freakibg out!
