Which should I get, Apple ipad pro OR Macbook Air?

I can't decide which I want, and which is the better option.

I like the ipad pro (most likely the 12.9) because of the touch, pencil and the app store.

I like the macbook air because its light, still integrates with my iphone, great battery life and the ability to run programs.

This device won't be used for anything crazy. I still have a windows laptop thats used quite a bit. Any thoughts or suggestions?

If you don't need to use OS X apps and don't need a large screen and don't need a hardware keyboard, get the iPad Pro. Otherwise, how can I choose for you?
