Is getting an iPhone 3gs any good now?

I want a cheap iPhone that can be unlocked and the 3gs is the cheapest one that can be unlocked

*** get a 5s you jive turkey

Nope. If you want an iPhone badly buy a used 4 or 4s. Otherwise Android smartphones are cheaper and have new and better tech. It has old softwares and is probably obsolete.

No. The only 5 Is big now. It'll be the Iphone 6 soon

Yea, its fine. You won't be playing the top end game, but if you're just looking for an iPhone for Music/Phone/SMS/Angry Bird/Facebook, then its fine.

  • Why won't iTunes transfer any song or any file to any of my devices? I have unistalled and reinstalled iTunes multiple times. When I go to to transfer a song to iphone, ipad, ipod it just freezes up and doesn't do anything. I'm running the newest version of the program. What do I need to do? Just want to fix it. Thanks. I have waited on the program to transfer just to see if it is slow or what and it took 30 mins and nothing. I can't download software updates also.
  • My Iphone 3gs battery is getting hot and draining too fast.any ideas? We have two iphones. Both are 3gs. My phone is going through the battery much faster than my husband's phone. It also gets hot (especially when it was in the otter box, but i've since taken it out). Anyone experience this or know how to fix it?
  • Jailbroke iPhone, now NO signal on ANY network? Cydia, iOS 6.0, 3GS? I jailbroke my iPhone purely because I want to unlock it to all networks (I live in Australia and it's a British phone). I used evasi0n and now I have Cydia installed on the phone. I also installed ultrasn0w from Cydia app store. Not only does the phone not work with my Aussie SIM card, it now no longer works with the Original simcard (it was working fine before the jailbreak). It just says "searching" and then eventually "SOS only". Any help tech experts?
