IS IT AGAINST TENNESSEE LAW to RECORD A CONVERSATION ON MY IPHONE?

IS IT AGAINST TENNESSEE LAW to RECORD A CONVERSATION ON MY IPHONE BETWEEN ME AND ANOTHER PERSON IF THE SECOND PARTY BROUGHT A THIRD PARTY IN TO WITNESS THE CONVERSATION? MOST IMPORTANTLY CAN I USE IT IN COURT AGAINST THE PERSON IF THE CAUSE SLANDER AGAINST MY NAME?
EXAMPLE: I JANE SMITH WALKED INTO JOHN DOE'S OFFICE. JOHN DOE TOLD HIS EMPLOYEE BILLY BOB TO COME WITNESS THE CONVERSATION. 5 MINUTES LATER JOHN DOE ASKED JANE SMITH TO LEAVE BECAUSE HE WAS BEING RECORDED. JANE SMITH RECORDED CONVERSATION BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO SUE JOHN DOE FOR SLANDER

No need to yell…

Tennessee is a one party consent state. So, one of the parties must consent. Also, if the conversation is one made in public or without expectation of privacy, consent is not required. The question may be whether or not the third party makes it a public conversation (no longer have an expectation of privacy) or is a part of the conversation and should be consulted for consent.

  • What would the bond be for robbery in tennessee? They have no serious criminal back ground, stole my purse which contained my iPhone and wallet all together probably about $500. I was also assaulted when this happened and unconscious but they only got charged with robbery (I'm pressing charges for aggravated assault tmrw, had to wait to get a copy of the report and my statement) I would just like to know how much the bail would be and what will the penalty most likely be?
  • What will moores law look like in another 40 years? Yes, I have heard that it is going to break down in another 10 years but if it dosen't, where do you see More's law in another 40 or 50 years into the future? It seems like we have come a long way from the Apple II to the iPhone 5. Also if More's law does break down in another 10 years, what might technology look like then? And for people who don't know: Moores law refers to the doubling of Transistors every two years.
  • What tool does law enforcement use to unlock iPhones? I heard that in iOS8, the data is encrypted so that law enforcement can't unlock iPhones, but my friend in high school got his phone taken away, and the school was able to unlock his phone even though he was on iOS 8. Also what tool do they use to do this, and how come it is still possible for law enforcement to unlock iPhone?
