Is it alright to charge an iPhone 4 overnight?
When my brother had a Samsung phone he charged it overnight and ruined the battery. I read online that its okay to charge apple devices overnight. Based on personal experience is that true?

- Will my iphone alarm still go off when i have an app running overnight? I've had sleep cycle on my phone for around 5 months now, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I'm normally a very heavy sleeper and I have to get up super early in the morning which makes me even more sleepy. I want to see if it will work for school or if my 4 normal alarms will wake me up.

Unfortunately I plugged in my phones to my laptop to restore backup then the phone charged until 40% and i unplugged it. After the battery drop to 20% and I fully charged it. Is it going to affect anything?
