Is it consider rude to use speaker to play music while hiking?

I won't play hard core rock or anything like that. Just some normal music like POP music, or blue, or slow music. And I won't turn the volume to max of course.

So will people find this to be rude? Or should I just wear earphones? But i think it is kinda dangerous to wear earphones when hiking, cuz that way I won't be able to hear what's going on around me.

And i won't use big speakers like beats by dre capsule, I will only use my iphone's speaker.

If I was hiking, and heard someone else's music like that, I'd consider it rude. I go to the woods to get away from that. The music of the birds and the wind in the trees is all I want to hear.

Yes it is very rude

You will be in danger if you play music over speakers as well. Personally, I would nudge your speakers over the top of the summit of a Fourteener and send you down a thousand-foot cliff to find them.
