Is it considered spoiled if I get an iPhone 5 at 13?
Ok so here's the whole story. I'm 13 and getting a white iPhone 5. I'm entering 8th grade and had all A's in 7th grade. My aunt in Hawaii said that she will get me a white iPhone 5 last month but she probably forgot. Anywho, I'm still waiting for the iPhone and was wondering if it's considered spoiled if I have one. Please answer I don't want to be displayed as a 13 year old brat!
Yes you are.
No, learning about technology is a good thing at a young age, enjoy the phone and feel fortunate that you have someone who is able to buy you one. Be grateful and take good care of the phone out of respect to the person who bought it for you. And enjoy.
You are a little too worried what other people think, don't apologize for getting sweet gifts cause that somehow makes you seem more spoiled. Spoiled is more how you act not what you have so treasure it and take care of it, don't be careless with expensive things and don't take them for granted and you won't seem spoiled.
No its not considered spoilt
Your aunt will be seriously overpaying for essentially a brand when the 7 time Phone of the Year, winning Samsung Galaxy S II is half the price of the IP5 yet despite that the IP5 lacks features INCLUDED in the SGS II it cost more than the Samsung S 4
1)The Samsung Galaxy S II (2) was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.
18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the IP5
2) Slick advertising does NOT mention this
1 & 2 are linked, the Samsung Galaxy S 2, 3, 4 & 4Mini All have these 8 features NOT on the IP5, the IP5 however is priced above that of the Octa Core [ DOUBLE Quad Core] 13Mp and is a Dual Core phone
AND THEY All HAVE Bluetooth Media Transfer sharing ie you can't't send a jpeg video by Bluetooth if one phone is an iPhone

Virtually every major phone maker has a phone with superior specs to the IP5 nobody who own these phone are in awe of an iPhone5
Hopefully she is doing research
Why do you care what others think?
- Why's iphone 5 considered best smartphone? What's special about it? What are some features in iphone 5 which is not in other smartphones? I find some smartphones with better processor, camera etc.
- What is considered using data on iphone? What kind of apps use data and what are some that don't use up your data? For example apps like Facebook, Tumblr, instagram, are they considered using data? Also when you download music on iTunes does that include data usage?
- Should I get this? Or would I be spoiled? Okay so I have a iPhone and a iPad and my grandpa bought the ipad and I bought the iPhone. My mom said he could buy me an MacBook. Should I get it or should I just use my iPad for stuff and projects.
- Is jailbreaking an iPhone considered stealing? I've heard that it is stealing, since you are not honestly paying for the apps that are in the app store. I have also heard that it is not fair, since others have to pay. I'm confused. Is it considered stealing or not?
