Is it dangerous to use an iphone with water in it?
I got some water in my iphone 5s a few days ago and its still not out, i have it in a bag of rice right now. I turned it on to check if the water is out or not and my phone worked perfectly fine, no errors at all aside from there being water in it. Is it okay to use right now or is it too risky?
I don't think its risky, i have been using an ipod touch 4g for about a year after i got i'm in my bath…
It won't be dangerous but if there's water inside and you turn it on, you run the risk of the water short circuiting the phone.
By the way, rice does nothing for this situation.
Your best bet is to remove the battery if you haven't already, and lay the phone out in a warm spot for at least 24 hours. (you can even use a blow dryer on warm to try to help get the water out.)

- Is it dangerous to unplug iPhone 5 battery while it's on and charging? Is it dangerous to unplug an iPhone 5 battery while it's on and charging? I want to run the iPhone without the battery and I heard that it would not boot up if the battery isn't present. So I was wondering if it was safe to unplug the battery while the phone is still on and plugged in.
