Is jailbreaking iphone 4s dangerous?

I just got my iphone 4s yesterday and i'm wanting to jailbreak it, i jailbroke my ipod about 2 weeks ago but i just got this phone and paid to much money to ruin it. I just wanna know if it will make it slower or change anything, or break it in anyway, and is it worth it?

Jailbreaking will:
slow the OS down
drain battery faster
void the warranty if you ever take it to a shop to repair (if you still have warranty)

so on and iPod it is reasonable, but on a phone, NO don't jailbreak it

I saw my friend writing an essay about it, and I remember it said that it wasn't good and not worth it. Plus he studied tech in Hs and now in college;)

It won't do anything bad and it'll just add the cydia app, which you can use to download cool tweaks such as DeepEnd (3D Wallpaper) Icon rotator ( icons rotate like in the ipad, Barrel, Icons have animations while being slided, panoramic wallpaper feature, volume increaser, new fonts, new keyboards, new themes, new bootlogos, new anything as long as you can think of it and you have a good source for it. I installed iOS 6.0 Beta 3 on my ipod after my jailbreak and it deletes all the jailbreak tweaks… So that's the only bad thing currently.

No, it is not dangerous. It doesn't slow down your phone at all, nor does it drain battery life.

  • Is it dangerous to use an iphone with water in it? I got some water in my iphone 5s a few days ago and its still not out, i have it in a bag of rice right now. I turned it on to check if the water is out or not and my phone worked perfectly fine, no errors at all aside from there being water in it. Is it okay to use right now or is it too risky?
