Is it easy to replace the iphone battery?
I have an iphone 3gs and I need to replace the battery as its completely had it.
I got a quote from a phone dealer who said to replace the battery is between $70-$150 depending on where I go.
I have seen sellers on ebay selling the iphone battery and tools for about $30.
It is easy to replace yourself or should I probably get it done somewhere?
Its quicker and more reliable to do it with certified people, but you can do it yourself too, just not as quickly and maybe not as efficiently
Yep! But replacing battery yourself it somewhat tricky. Make ensure that you must know full pledged technical details then only you can succeed. Otherwise it seems to be issues.

- What company will replace a battery-destroyed iPhone 3? The battery of my iPhone 3 is freakishly swollen/expanded. Half of the front face is popped out and the back. I read that certain company's will replace it for free when this happens, any suggestions?
- Back of my iphone is smashed, is it easy to replace the back myself? So. I'm in idiot and dropped my Iphone on hard flooring in my bathroom. The front is fine, luckily. Otherwise I would of flipped out. I need to know if it is easy to replace the back, i've heard of multi color backings as well. Anyone know if this is easy and if there's a place online I can buy a new back?
