Is it ethically correct to charge my friend for breaking my phone?
I have an iPhone 7Plus (not covered under apple care) and today my mate and I were messing around and he slapped it out of my hand, smashing it. I checked screen replacement prices and it was around $260AUD to get it fixed from the apple store.
We're good mates, but he has been dodging me since the event took place.
Yeah, give your friend another chance
Yes it's right for you to charge him. He pretty much has damaged your property, so now he has to pay for it.
If he were a good friend he would offer to at least help repay out of the guilt in his heart.
He should pay part
A phone repair shop will be less thsn the Apple store
