Is it illegal to jailbreak an iphone in australia?
I know it wasn't illegal 2-3 years ago, but I can't find any information saying it isn't. Is it still legal? My iPhone has lost its warranty, so I want to jailbreak my Iphone and personalise it more to suit me.

The only devices it is technically illegal to jailbreak are ipads, and thats USA only. Jailbreaking any device voids the warranty. Since your device is out of warranty, and its legal to jailbreak it, go right ahead.
Its legal to jailbreak an ipad. Its just doesent have a "exemption" like the iphones do.

- Why is the iphone 5 more expensive here in Australia? Outright purchase of the iphone 5 64gb in Australia costs $999 whereas the US sells it for $399. Why exactly is this a huge difference considering that our currency is fairly close?
