Is it just me or does iPod Touch/iPhone internal camera distort your face?
I have iPod touch with internal camera and I doubt it's different for iPhones.anyway, when I look into it, everything looks pretty normal except my head looks taller. But when I take the picture and loko at it, my head becomes thinner and my eyes are very un even and my mouth is crooked. Wtf?
Added (1). @clever basically the same before i take a picture except my head is wider as opposed to taller in the mirror as to the screen. But when the pic is taken, it then effes with my feartures.
Welcome to perspective distortion. When the camera is too close to the subject, you get perspective distortion. If you want someone to look proper, get at least 10 feet away.

When taking pictures with my iphone I noticed that it flips my pictures and makes my whole face look asymmetrical but when I use my Imac front facing camera it does not flip the photos and my face is symmetrical. I need to change its perfect square shape into a diagnal diamond-square shape. I've been searching all morning for photo alterations photos on iTunes I hoped might do the job - like, say, allowing me to set the new parameters of the photo and then having the app reshape the photo to the new shape - but I can't locate anything. Does anyone know of one?
