I'm no legal expert nor super into the whole DRM thing, but as I understand it: The DMCA allows you to create a backup of your media for personal use. Giving it away to a friend would be illegal. However unless you're selling them or that person is making copies of it and selling them it isn't likely that you'll get in trouble.
Copyright laws vary from country to country, so you might want to look that up for your specific country if you're not in the US.
- Put music onto iPhone on someone else's laptop? I'm currently overseas for the year and have my iPhone with me, but not my laptop, and I would like to add some of the music from my friend's laptop onto my phone. Is there a way for me to obtain the songs I want (in a playlist) without all of her music (and apps and photos etc) transferring to my phone, or my music transferring to hers? A step by step tutorial would be so useful as I can't find one that explains it clearly!

- ITunes festival getting in with someone else's passsbook tickets? A friend can't go to the itunes festival tomorrow for Paramore so she has given me her tickets. I have loaded the tickets on to my passbook on my iPhone. The terms and conditions state that you ONLY need to bring the passbook tickets and photo ID. The passbook tickets do NOT have any names attached to them. When they scan the QR code, does my friends name pop up on their machine? Or not? That's the only problem I see, otherwise I should be able to get in, and just show my photo ID.

I'm scared that if i plug my phone into the computer it will delete all of his information. Is it possible to share the same itunes, or could i make my own account with the computer then install itunes again under my name? I'm so confused and really need some help
