Is it legal to unlock an iPhone without getting to actual company to do it?
I'm just really curious because now that the iPhone 5 is out, iPhone 4S is much cheaper, and iPhone 4 is free on AT&T. I have T-Mobile so I feel really left out. I have an Android, Motorola Defy, but it just doesn't seem as great as when I had an iPod Touch, so clearly iPhone would be even better than that! I've been looking online and noticed on some sites like Craigslist that people unlock iPhones for really cheap. I was wondering if this could be my answer for a T-Mobile iPhone, but I don't know if it's legal to do since Apple didn't approve of it being unlocked for me. So if I did get it unlocked, but then something bad happens and I need to send it back, would I get in trouble! Can someone please help?!~
It is legal but it will void the warranty.
- Would it be legal to unlock an iPhone 4S I purchased on eBay locked? I do not plan to use it as a phone per se. I only plan to use it for web surfing at home using the wi-fi router on my PC and use the camera for taking local and travel photos.
- What's a free legal way of getting music? I wondering how do you get music for free legally? Because I'm sick and tired of having to download it from websites and download certain apps on my iphone.
- Unlock iPhone 4 difficulty getting an unlock code? I need to get my iPhone unlocked to use with an Australian sim card. I have called Vodafone in Ireland to get this done but they have just tried to call me back and i do not have enough credit on my Irish number to receive the call as i'm in Australia at the moment. I can't perform the unlock procedure through Vodafone online either.
- Is there anyway to charge an iPhone without using the actual charging hole? Okay so, I dropped my iPhone 5c in milk yesterday and everything on the phone itself works fine but it won't charge and I do not have the money to pay to get it fixed. Is there any way to charge it without having to charge it normally?
