Is it possible to buy an iPhone with no data plan/sim card?
I have an old Samsung Galaxy S2 and the contract expired. I moved my SIMcard to a new phone and now the S2 has no data plan. But it still runs apps, plays movies, use Wi-Fi, etc.
Can I also do this with an iPhone? I would I be able to find one for sale on Amazon or ebay?

Yes, you can buy them new unlocked from Apple.com. You can probably find used ones on Amazon and eBay too - just search for "unlocked iPhone".
