If i buy an IPHONE 5 online, is it possible to buy a plan for it IN TORONTO?

So i was on line and found a iphone 5 for a very very good price from china, but i have a question (THIS IS MY FIRST PHONE) can you buy a sim card without a phone and can an iPhone have a slot to insert a iPhone that i can do my self or talk to a store to fix it thanks Please ANSWER

First beware when buying iPhones online they can be fake second yes you can buy a phone without the SIM card third no an iPhone does not have a slot to insert another iPhone.

Do not buy the phone from China. If you're getting it at very very good price, then it's too good to be true. Buy an iPhone from US or Canada if you want at good price. Make sure the phone is unlocked. You can just pop-in your current SIM card and it'll be alright. If you need unlocked iPhone at very reasonable price, mail me.

  • Will my Verizon Iphone 4 Work in Toronto, Canada? I have a new iphone 4S with Verizon I just got in August 2012, and the contract doesn't end for another year, however we're moving to Canada in about a week. Will the cost be the same if I use my iphone there, or is there a way I can trade it with an unblocked one, or not pay international fees?
  • Why do I have to buy a data plan when buying a Iphone 4s from the apple store online? I'm buying a Verizon Iphone from the Apple store but why do I have to purchase a data plan right now? I planned on waiting until next month and just taking it to a store to get activated. Or is that not possible and i would just have to buy a unlocked phone?
  • Where to unlock an iphone 4 in toronto? I'm trying to find a place to unlock a rogers iphone 4. All the info I'm googling seems too shady for me to trust lol. Any recommendations would be awesome
  • Toronto and California, iMessage? My best friend moved to Cali for school and I'm moving across Canada for school. She changed her number to a Cali one. We both have iPhones and iMessage. Can we iMessage each other without other charges being incurred? Will there be an increase in data or anything?
