Is it possible to hear a song differently after listening to it for years?

Last night I fell asleep listening to one of my favorite songs "Don't Let Me Fall" by B.o.B. In my Apple iPhone 5 earphones. I woke up and the song was way different. The quality of the song had changed even though it was the highest quality possible, and I could hear certain sounds and parts of the song differently then i could previously, but the song sounds like trash now. I thought maybe the headphones weren't plugged in all the way but they were, so then maybe I thought they were just shorting out. So I turned on another song and it was completely normal. I thought maybe it was a fluke in the file but then I went on my sisters phone and looked it up on YouTube and it was just the same as this morning! I have listened to this song ever since it's release about 4 years ago, and now it's completely different. What is going on?! This is really freaking me out! Someone please help me, I think I'm going crazy or something.

Try redownloading that song from a bunch of different websites and see if that changes the quality. If that doesn't help, ask someone else to listen to that song because it's possible you desensitized your ears to certain parts of the song that sounded fine before.

Yes, i think so
