Is it possible to play VR games on an iPhone 6+?

I have an iPhone 6+ and I was wondering if there was any good solution that would enable me to stream a vr game on my computer to my iPhone?

Nope! Only the Samsung Galaxy S6 series and the S7 series as well as the Note 5 have the technological prowess to do true VR. There's nothing supporting VR on the iPhones. The LCD screens on the iPhones are not good enough to handle VR properly. The Galaxy phones run far better Super AMOLED displays that are of a higher resolution that's necessary for sharp visuals. They also offer far better refresh rates for the fast animation that VR produces. And the iPhone's screens are just not good enough to have decent quality. Plus the Galaxy phones have a whole VR store and eco system that is developed specifically for them.

This is why Apple is now looking to use Samsung AMOLED displays starting in late 2017 with the iPhone 7s.
(Samsung is major screen manufacturer for other brands as well.)

The iPhone 7 coming out in September of this year won't have it. But in 2017 look for VR to come out to the iPhones. The only thing is that Samsung will still have a major head start, as their store was operational at this point a year ago already now. And by then the Galaxy store will have a 3 year head start.

There's a loose rumor that they could do a separate headset that has a built in system to bypass the iPhone LCD screen. But the only problem is that the headset would be far more expensive than Samsung's solution. And it wouldn't be any better. So holding off until 2017 makes more sense.

Plus the Samsung setup will work with all Galaxy S6's S7's and S8's by then, plus all Notes! Aka. The Note 5, Note 6 and Note 7 by then. The iPhone 7s will be the only phone likely to work out of the gate with VR in 2017.

You may be an iPhone fan. But unfortunately at this point Samsung has that market down pat at this point in the mobile market. Not even the new 360 VR from LG offers anything comparative against the VR for the Galaxy S series They basically use the USB to a separate headset as a work around, since they to use LCD too.

If you have to have it on an iPhone, then 2017 will be your year. (Most likely)
