Is it possible to port straight talk service into an Iphone 4s?
I recently bought an iPhone 4s from ebay. It was run by verizon by the original user. The iPhone no longer has service, and i was just wondering if there was any other way to activate the phone using a straight talk phone card? To enable it to have an unlimited amount of data/minutes. Or is there any way to activate it to straight talk?
Sure why not
- Will a Verizon iPhone 5 have LTE service if used on Straight Talk? Just a quick question for iPhone experts. I recently decided I want an iPhone 5 and have a friend who raves about his s3 on Straight Talk. I have the opportunity to buy a Verizon iPhone 5 from a friend for cheap, but i'd like to know if I will receive LTE service when using it on Straight Talk. If not, I will just go with a Straight Talk iPhone from their website.
- Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
- Is straight talk service good? With an iPhone? I've heard great stuff about straight talk but prepaid plans tend to be bad service wise. I really want to use an iPhone with them but I need to know what all I'm getting before making that investment. I live in Birmingham, AL if anyone has ST here. I heard they use AT&T towers but just need to know what all this is. Let me know what you know!
- Is straight talk overall a good service for iphone 5? I've been wanting to buy an iphone 5 in straight talk, because everything is unlimited and its affordable. But before making a mistake i wanted to make sure if it has good coverage, reception, etc. Is it unlimited on memory. All that good stuff. I heard they kick you out if you go over 2MB. Something like that. I usually don't travel much and it says it only works in your zip code area. I'm always here so that's pretty good. Just wondering about everything basically.
