Is it possible to replace the front broken glass of an iPhone 4?
Last week I dropped my iPhone 4 and the glass cracked really bad. All the functions still work, including the touch screen, but I'm really annoyed and want to get the glass fixed. I know I could pay someone to do it, but I'm hoping I can order a glass from Amazon and do it myself. About a month ago I fixed the cracked back glass to my phone myself by taking out the screws, so I'm hoping I can fix the front. Has anyone done this before without much experience. I look on Youtube, but I'm asking for more tips and help. I'm hoping to be able to purchase a front glass for not too much, like around $10.
For $5.90, you can purchase one off of Amazon. It is better to do it yourself. My local computer/phone shops will charge $20 using the same replacement kits you can get online for fairly cheap.
- Where Can I Buy Colored Front Glass For iPhone 4? When I say colored, I don't mean black or white. I mean the colors like blue pink red ect. The glass also has to come with the attached digitizer I've found various websites and companies that sell them but they all get very bad reviews. All I need is a legitimate website that sells LCD colored front iPhone glass with digitizer.
- What do I need to replace cracked front iphone 4 glass? Verizon. What is the LCD? The CDMA seems to be the Verizon phone. What is the LCD? Do i need my front glass to have that if I'm replacing it or will my iphone already have the old one for me to use? My boyfriend is helping me put the front glass on and he builds computers. Just not sure about the LCD
- Should I replace my shattered iPhone 5 front glass myself or take it in? I ordered the front glass for my iphone 5 since it recently got shattered, the LCD works fine though. I heard it is risky it fix it myself so should I just take it in? Or is fixing it myself is a better option for the money?
- Replacing my iphone 4 front glass? I have an iphone 4 and recently cracked the front screen, not enough to hinder it's function, but it does bother me aesthetically. I only got my phone less than a month ago, where can I get it fixed and how much should it cost?
