Should I replace my shattered iPhone 5 front glass myself or take it in?
I ordered the front glass for my iphone 5 since it recently got shattered, the LCD works fine though. I heard it is risky it fix it myself so should I just take it in? Or is fixing it myself is a better option for the money?
Take it in! My (now ex) boyfriend offered to replace the screen on my iPhone, saying it was super easy and how he'd seen a bunch of people do it before, and it would only take him an hour. 7 hours later, he'd had to take it apart three times because each time he thought he was finished with the installation, he couldn't get the screen to come on. And he also had three extra screws left over when he was finished, as he couldn't figure out where they'd come from. My phone was NEVER the same after that. Do yourself the favor, spend the money, and have a professional do it.

I called apple and they told it would cost 200$ and they give me a new iphone4. This means i will lose everything except my contacts.
