Is it possible to unlock a blacklisted IPhone 5?
I have this phone that I bought on ebay, although I only notice after a month or so, they told me that the phone I bought is stolen and had a bad ESN. Immediately I tried to find out if it was possible to return and get a refund, unfortunately I can't. My only options left is whether I can sell it or possibly unlock it. Can I use the phone overseas?
You can't unlock a blacklisted phone but yes you can sell it… Mostly likely its useless but you can get some money for it. I had the same problem when i bough a galaxy from ebay i sold online to www.zadsell.com they offered me the most there. Or some overseas countries can use it not all countries.
Its blacklisted through the carriers so no, it doesn't matter what you do to the phone. You could use it as an ipod touch, or maybe you can use it as a trade in to upgrade to a new phone? (Not sure if on trade in they look that up)

- I've been sold a blacklisted iPhone? I recently bought an iPhone 5c from Game, who told me the phone was ex-contract. However, after owning the phone for 3 days it stopped working and I finally found out it had been blacklisted. I'm going to be able to get a full refund from them, but I was wondering if I'd be able to get any compensation at all for wasting my time, and for breach of contract. Any advice would be helpful!
