Is it possible to unlock iPhone 4?
My friend gave me her iPhone 4 32GB because she upgraded to an iPhone 5. Her iPhone 4 was recently upgraded to iOS 6.
I know it's possible to unlock the phone on the previous OS, but i was wondering if it's possible to unlock the phone on the new update.
Anyone have any idea? I've never owned an iPhone. I've been stuck with a silly slide-phone for a couple years.

If it's an AT&T iPhone 4 then yes, it can be unlocked; once it's unlocked it'll work with other carriers that use SIM cards like T-Mobile - just get a SIM card and service from the carrier and plug the SIM card into the phone.

That's no problem. To keep your warranty and play safe with your phone, you should get a proper factory unlock as there's no working jailbreak for iOS 6 yet anyways and you might permanently brick your phone when doing it wrong.
