Is it possible to unlock Sprint iPhone 5'and newer iPhones?
I have been reading on Sprint's customer forums that it is possible to unlock Apple iPhone 5, 5c and 5s phones on Sprint's network. Is this true?
Added (1). Or is Verizon the only one whose iPhones come unlocked?

No, none of the current Sprint iPhones can be unlocked for use on other US Carriers. It's a limitation of the hardware, Sprint iPhones contain very specific radios to communicate with the cellular network.
- What is the s for in newer iPhones? The iPhone 5s hasn't come out yet but what does the s stand for? Like what's the difference between the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S? I always thought it stood for Siri but iPhone 5 already has Siri so they wouldn't need to make an iPhone 5s it would already be the 5s. I don't I'm just wondering because I'm getting an iPhone in the next month or so.
