Different phone but same sim number so will I have my old contacts stored or no?
My iphone 6s broke so I will be having an iphone 5 instead as a temporary phone. I can easily ask through social media numbers yet I'm just wondering. Will have phone on Thursday.
If not all on the sim and sign in with same email linked to your account, on set up / select from back up and your 6s… Now all apps which work on the 5 will install, all contacts linked to your account shall be put back if you did not override the 6s default settings so expect no issues at all. Apple use the id sign in info to back the contacts up, i have several iphones and my contacts are there regardless of sim number, you said saved anyway so just log in the apps and no change, all as 6s:-)
At least you've saved or copies all the contacts in SIM card before changing the phone
No. Your info is not stored on the sim except for the phone number and your mobile provider.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- Is it possible to use the same apple ID for a new phone but not have everything from the old phone transfer over? I was just wondering because I will be getting a new iPhone and I want to still use my current apple ID, but have a clean slate and choose what transfers over.
- I've lost my iPhone and it didn't have find my phone turned on. Is it still possible to find it? I have the same Apple ID on that phone Both iPhone 7s (one is with me the other one is lost) Doesn't have SIM card inserted Nor find my iPhone or find friends are turned on
- I got upgraded to iPhone 5 with a new sim but the number is not the same? They said to me that I would be using the same number but when it came today there's a different number. I don't get it because I'm on a contract and my old sim is still working fine and I have this yet I only want one number and one contract. Is it a mistake or can they T-Mobile help me?
