Is it too late for my iPhone?
Yesterday morning I accidentally dropped my iPhone in the toilet. I took it out very quickly and dried it off and promptly put it in a bowl of rice and left it for a full 24-hours. The next morning I took it out of the rice and attempted to turn it on but all it was doing was flashing the camera light, the screen would not come on. Then I noticed that there was still moisture in the camera lens so I put it in fresh rice and am hoping it will dry out then work ok. What do you think? Is it too late for my phone?
Keep it in a dry place
don't keep it in the freekin rice it will stay moist
i kept mines in a dry box for 24 hours and walaa it started working
and mines actually got washed in the washing machine

The rice is a good idea, but you should have taken the battery out. I'm afraid it may be too far gone now.
Maybe you should refer to someone in your area which deals with such cases and try to let him/her take out the battery or I'm afraid it may die soon… Well I didn't get your idea of putting it in rice.
- Is it too late to return my iphone x and switch to iphone 8? I got my iphone x in novemeber around thanksgiving. I had it for 2 months now and i'm really annoyed by it and i feel like iphone 8 is a lot better… Do you think i will be able to just order an iphone 8 get that set up and get a refund on my iphone x?
- Is it too late to put my iPhone 5 in rice? I dropped my iPhone 5 into the toilet 2 days ago while using iFunny (how clumsy) and it stayed in the toilet for about 10 seconds. I took it out and dried it off with a towel. I didn't have any rice at home at the time so I just left it there. I'm wondering now if it's too late to put it in rice, or should I put it in more water to get the full effect of the rice (I don't think so… ) or should I just carry it to the apple store.
- Is it too late to put iPhone in rice when water dripped inside? If a little bit of water dripped into the bottom of my iPhone 4S, is it too late to put it into rice 24hrs later when I believe the water is already dried. My volume doesn't work, only headphones do.
- Is it too late to get the iphone 4s? I have the iphone 4 at the moment and i hoping to get the 4s next month because i don't really like the 5 very much, but is it too late to get the iphone 4s and ill have to keep it for 2 year because of the contract so will it be considered as old.
