Is it too late to put my iPhone 6 plus in rice?
On Friday night ai accidentally threw my phone inside a bucket of redbull now it has lines on the left side of the screen with purple and green. Is it late to use the rice technique?
Its worth a try to put in rice yet, could soak lot of water out of it yet
Possibly, but it is worth trying, My tablet was like that for about 4 days but we put it in Rice, it still worked. Try it and see
It sounds like it would be to late. Plus, I'm not sure how helpful the rice technique would be with and IPhone because it doesn't have a removable battery. You may need to replace the phone. Sorry!
Rice doesn't reverse damage

No for a couple of reasons. 1. Any damage done is already done and not reversible. 2. The rice technique is more an urban legend than an actual working "fix". It will not suck moisture out from the innards of any device, so that moisture remains to do its damage. All it does is absorb the outside moisture that a good paper or cloth towel can also do. Somehow that got started over the years because of the ability of rice to absorb moisture, but ask around and see if it ever worked for anyone who "tried it" and you will only hear "a friend told me that his friend did it once" types of responses.

I took it out and dried it off with a towel. I didn't have any rice at home at the time so I just left it there. I'm wondering now if it's too late to put it in rice, or should I put it in more water to get the full effect of the rice (I don't think so… ) or should I just carry it to the apple store.
