Is it weird that I want to live in the past?
I just have such a love for the past, and I wish that I could live there--ideally in the 20s-60s. Times right now are just so gray, everyone's so obsessed with their phones and computers and it isn't like what it used to be. People back then were excited for all the new technologies that were being invented, but nowadays we just wait for a day in line so we can get the newest iPhone.
I feel like I don't really belong in the present times. I know that times were more tough back then (especially for non-white males), but I don't care. People say that everyone "romanticizes the past", which I guess I'm doing, but I can't help it.
The conveniences of the computer and phones are nice, but I'd be willing to give it all away in favor of living life a few decades ago.
I would like to live in the past where I know everything I do now. I would be a sports betting legend.
I would love to experience the life and activities of the past, but never live in it. No, its not weird at all.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is it Weird that my Daughter will be 11 on the 29th and she doesn't want any Toys? Kate will be 11 soon, and she gave me her birthday wishlist today. It read: 1. Mint Eos Lip Balm. 2. Case for my IPhone 4. 3. Something flavored Sweet Pea from bath and body works. She is also having a sleepover with 2 close friends. So her last thing on her wishlist read 4. The best sleepover ever! Is it weird that she doesn't want any Toys? She keeps telling me she feels like she's graduated from playing with little kids and toys and things like that. Is this normal?
- Is it weird I don't want a lot for Christmas? The stuff I want isn't like big things like PS4s and iPhones. I mainly want stuff to do with my favorite band, because I love their music. I want: CD's (I have a list of some of the ones I want) Posters of my favorite band Super Smash Brothers Brawl (for wii) Biographies of The Beatles iTunes Gift Card DVD's and Money Seriously I don't want a lot. Just Beatles Albums, posters, biographies, money, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
- IPhone 4s won't let me re-download past purchases? I go to the iTunes store trying to download music that was alredy downloaded from my from my iPhone 4s and the same apple ID. I can do this on my iPad and I can re download apps just not music. It says I can't re-download within 67 days Help?
