Is it worth it to buy the Apple Earpods?

I have an Ipod Touch 4g and have the original earbuds. I know that the new earpods come with the Iphone 5S. A lot of people say they sound a lot better, but are they really worth $29.99. I'm willing to spend it for them, but only if they sound good.

Do they have a lot better bass than the old model? I'm mainly looking for more bass.

If your looking for bass, and you were thinking of spending 40$ on new Apple headphones, try out some different earbuds! Not saying that Apple is bad, cause once you get used to them I know how hard it is to switch. But try out some skull candy's. You can get them at a Best Buy, or pretty much anywhere that would sell headphones. Target, Walmart etc. If you Really want bass though, try over the ear headphones. They have a higher price tag, but in the long run it will be worth it.

I have used apple earpods for several years and my opinion is that apple earphones are generally not really good.

earphones from other companies like samsung worked better.

anyhow if you are looking for more bass than you can do a google search.

I'm pretty happy with the clarity in my EarPods. A lot of engineering was put into those EarPods, and they look good, and they do what they are supposed to do.
