It's not worth buying an iphone. Overpriced and overrated.
I would buy it if it's from Apple since Apple should know their own product better than anyone else. So if there's a problem, Apple should be able to fix it before reselling it.
I wouldn't buy it from another retailer because I don't know the history of the iPhone. There's not exactly a carfax for iPhone that lists all the damage and repairs it's been though. I heard about people bringing their iPhone to get a cracked screen fix bug when they got it back, it doesn't work correctly.
Depends on the quality of the phone, most times a refurbished phone is a brand new phone that was returned by the customer or and open box model. Some are also used but they get a make over with new case, battery and possibly screen.
