The iPhone 5 is really good tho I had it 4 days and I dropped it at the skate park and it broke…
And as soon as that arrives you'll be asking exactly the same question about the iP7 and still be prevaricating. At this stage there's no guarantee that there will even be an iP6.
You can only buy and use what is available now. So choose a current product or one which is immediately due (with all the likely early adopter bug issues) and get on with your life. This time next year you can choose whether to trade in what you chose and upgrade again.

Apple released their phone in every year in a certain time gap. So you're buying 5S today, it will be old next year, If you buy iPhone 6 nexy year, it will be old by 2015.
Simply get the phone you have around. Don't wait. You never know, iPhone6 may disappoint you too?
Is it worth it for what? Nothing in your question explains what you want out of a phone. Do you need a phone now? Are you so concerned with having the newest phone that you'll stick with a bad phone in order to guarantee your eligibility for an upgrade when the new phone arrives… After next summer? If you're so obsessed with having the newest iPhone as soon as it's released, is there any reason you simply can't wait for it? I've had the same phone for over three years.
