Is it wrong that I wanna go to Yale only to be in Skull&Bones?

I really like education.

I'm home schooled and don't have many friends, so I think I like education because of that. If I were in public school, I'd probably be obsessed with sports and rap music. Not saying all public schoolers are like that though, just a lot I've seen.

anyway, my favorite subjects are history(especially ancient), anthropology, marketing, social and physical science, linguistics, geography, astronomy.

even subjects that I "dislike", I kind of like. It's like, I wanna understand them, and find them interesting, but I don't study them… And lots of times I find them hard and boring, yet I wanna know about that subject.

anyway, I don't know, I just wanna go to Yale. I wanna go to a university which has a high reputation, like Yale, Harvard etc. I don't know why. I know other schools are good too, but I don't know why I'm like this.

it's like I need to have the best things. Like the iPhone. I was going to get an iPhone 5c, since it's basically the same as the 5s, just a tiny bit slower, and doesn't have that thumb thing, or look as attractive as the 5s.

I'm not sure if it's just that the 5s is more expensive, or how it looks.

anyway, I've gotten way off topic.

Skull &Bones seems cool. Everyone who gets in has become successful, and I wanna be a business man. I already have 2 idea's, but they're not ones that I think would be huge. I know I can't expect to become successful right away though.

I thought of making shirts, but history ones. It sounds boring, but I would use graphics such as the Knights Templar logo, or Aztec paintings etc.

another I got from when I was using my nail to draw things on my phone's screen. I thought I could make some scratches on a certain type of glass for phones, that you wouldn't be able to see when you're using the phone, but would like when it's on sleep if you get what I mean.

I'm only 14(15 in November), so this could be a phase or something.

I took my son on a college visit to Harvard, Yale, Columbia. At the Harvard admissions office we met twin applicants who were home schooled. I later heard they were accepted, at age 17. Home schooled kids can be great applicants. Before meeting them, I'll admit I was dubious.

As to Scull and Bones, at Yale, or Porcellian Club at Harvard, admission to both of these and similar clubs depends on how rich and distinguished your grand parents were. When GW Bush was invited to join S&B, his father was a war hero and pitcher on Yale's successful baseball team. His grandfather was on the Yale Board of trustees. Joe Average will never be invited to join or even enter the buildings.

I suggest you seek out a college where you will feel comfortable and then work hard to get good grades. In most careers where you went to grad school is what will interest people.
