Is IT Tech And Lincoln Insitute A Good School For Computing?

I'm going to be a senior this upcoming september and my mom is on my back for me to pick what I want to do and where I should go. I love computers ever since I was growing up. I want to do computer engineering or pc&system repair or computer science or programming or software I know neither is easy but like I said I love computers and in willing to put in the hard work to succeed in it, any computer field. I live in New Jersey and my mom lives in New York so I was kind of looking for some universities or colleges in either place. My mom told me Lincoln tech and it tech is a scam school meaning its a waste if time school and they don't teach you anything in either school us it true? And can you give me a list of colleges or universities in the New Jersey or New York where I can do the following computing courses I listed above please and thank you I really appreciate it. These are both for-profit schools that have poor reputations and are VERY expensive. If you drop out you could be saddled with thousands in debt. Odds are even if you finish you will be saddled with thousands in debt.

You'd do well at almost any community college, and it'd be cheaper.

Your mom is right. I've never heard of Lincoln Tech, but IT is a for-profit school… Meaning the school cares more about the money they make than giving students a decent education. If you research reviews for IT tech, you'll see the school has a lot of bad ratings from people who've attended the school.
