Is iTunes's Music Expensive?

I'm getting my first iPhone, and I'm wondering whether iTunes's music is expensive? Also, is there free music available? If you Sync it from iTunes on your PC, what formats does it support? Please try to answer all my questions? I'll give the 10 points to the one who answers the most questions!

ITunes music ranges from some free- most about 0.99 to 1.99- few songs 3.99-albums about 10-20 dollars. Syncing is the same on PC and Mac as long as you use iTunes. If your asking what format the iPhone supports, all iTunes songs are mp4 but iPhone supports most music file types (mp3, wav, etc.).

I have never had an iPhone but my parents do have one each.iTunes music costs on average 99 cents per song. Each Album can be anywhere from $5 to $13. There's a free song every day, but they are usually old but gold songs. That is the only free music you can get on iTunes. However, if you do a bit of searching on Google you could get torrentz. Or, if you know the right site, (Itemvn.com) you can click download and it will direct download.

If you want to sync music from your computer that you downloaded, go into iTunes, click the file on the top left corner, and scroll down to add files to library. Click the MP3 file that you downloaded and hit open and it'll sync into your phone.

Most music is always around 69 cents to 1.29 cents no matter where you buy it (amazon, itunes, etc, all about the same). You can also convert old CDs to mp3 and load into itunes then copy to your phone, its simple and thats what I have done.
