Is jailbreaking my phone using Pangu 9.1 on an iPhone 6s safe?
I know that before this jailbreak there was a chance it would damage your phone but on the Pangu website I can't find anything about what can happen if you try to jailbreak it. What could happen to your phone?
What could happen? It bricks, meaning it becomes as useless as a brick with the Apple logo on it. Usually these problems happen if you do idiotic things such as unplug it while it is injecting the exploit or turning the phone off while its doing it. Some people have been getting boot loops with the latest Pangu jailbreak but that's fixed by doing a hard reset (holding down the power and home button)
- Stuck on lockscreen after jailbreaking with Pangu? I jailbroke it yesterday morning and when i try to unlock (i have no passcode) i can see my home screen wallpaper but no apps or anything. Then after a few seconds it reboots and the cycle continues. I have an iPhone 4. Please Help! I've also done the light and earphone trick, but nothing works!
