Is my Iphone blacklisted?
So please don't judge me on this question, I'm just a little confused. I'm trying to sell my Verizon iphone 6s plus to someone who has metro pcs. I've checked two different sites to check my ESN and they said the blacklist status is clean. One buyer asked for my ESN and told me it was blacklisted and its basically worth $50. Mind you, I bought my iphone from another person who had it with Verizon and all I did was switch my Cricket sim card into the iphone and it worked perfectly fine. If it was blacklisted, would I have been able to still do that? I've been using the phone since Feb 2017. I can call, text, have LTE data. I just wanna double check that if I sell it to someone with METRO PCS they can use it. I don't wanna rip someone off.

It's not blacklisted, or it wouldn't activate on any network. What i *think* might be happening, and you'd have to check with cricket, is it's locked to them.
I know with Cricket prepaids, they're simlocked to cricket for a service year. I'm not certain if BYOD phones are as well, but that might be the issue flagging it as unusable, and they just assumed that meant blacklisted. I suggest contacting them to find out.

However, after owning the phone for 3 days it stopped working and I finally found out it had been blacklisted. I'm going to be able to get a full refund from them, but I was wondering if I'd be able to get any compensation at all for wasting my time, and for breach of contract. Any advice would be helpful!
