Is the iphone 3 still a good phone?
My mom can't afford to buy me an iphone 4 or 5 for christmas so she might give me her old iphone 3, is the iphone 3 still a decent phone is it fast, able to get the latest apps, and have picture messaging?

It is still a good phone, but I wouldn't go around bragging to people about it!
Thats too outdated, 3GS is still a good phone though. Iphone 4 is free right now with a 2 year contract.

I have an ipod 4g so I know how to use an iphone so it would save me from having to learn how to use the phone. Might be able to get a 4S instead if I wait a month.
