Is the iPhone 4 still a good phone? - 1

I currently have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen, Apple killed it off quite a while ago and I was thinking of getting an iPhone. I can get one for about £170. Might be able to get a 4S instead if I wait a month.

I'd only use it mainly for the camera and iMessage because I play games on my PC and I don't really see the attraction of gaming on a touch screen.

Yes its a good phone.
Just not as popular.
But if your just gunna use it for pictures and messaging might add well just get like a Nokia or a waste of money, but your choice

Buy the 4s, i have the 4 and its slow as hell, plus you get panorama in4s after installing ios 6

Yes it is still a good phone, if it is cheaper that is better, all the iPhone 4s has is a faster internet and siri, which isn't that great. And all the iPhone 5 has is 4g LTE and a bigger screen. Plus any new phone is better than an older one.

I currently have an the iPhone 4.It's not that special. It's just simple and easy to use. The camera is alright quality. But have you looked at the galaxy S note II? 8 MP Camera, iPhone 4 only has 5.

I the the 4S. It's the best of the iPhones. You may want to get the 4S instead.

Iphone 4 doesn't have Siri but is still a really good phone. If you just want to use it for the camera and Imessage then yeah its really good for that, just not all the latest hardware like 5 has.

Overpriced old architecture as June 2010 and it WILL be discontinued later this year, so even more a waste of money as newer phones, better phones, AND CHEAPER PHONES can be bought.

I mean starting a contract now means in 2015 you will be using a phone that was issued in 2010, 5 years ago.

The iPhone 4, despite being 2 and a half years old now, is still a pretty impressive phone. It is still as powerful as some of the recent amazing android phones, such as the HTC One V and the LG Optimus L7, and still beats them. They all have a 1 Ghz single-core processor, impressive 5mp camera & 720p HD video recorder which puts them in the same league.

However, I suggest you carry on staying patient, save your money & buy the 4S as it might not be such a distant price to the 4 anyway. In terms of looks their the same, but the 4S has a astonishing 8 mp camera, a full HD 1080p video recorder & a 1Ghz dual-core processor which performs twice as fast and multitasks much better. The iPhone 4S is sold cheapest on PAYG at orange if you want it brand-new rather than second-hand.
